Welcome
to the school year to
all students, parents, families and staff . A special welcome to families
new to Gidgegannup and our school community.
Gidgegannup Primary School is
a Government funded school administered by the Department of Education and
Training (Western Australia). It is located approximately 20
kilometres east of Midland in the Darling Ranges and about 40 minutes east
of Perth by car. Gidgegannup Primary is within the boundary of
the Swan Education District and caters predominantly to the residents of
Gidgegannup, Morangup, Rolling Green and Gidgegannup Springs

The school is in a semi-rural
setting with extensive, well maintained grounds, enjoying a range of
educational facilities that address the needs of nearly 380 students
from kindergarten to Year 7. It offers an extensive educational program
catering for a broad range of student abilities, needs and interests.
Individual student performance is targeted through teaching and learning
outcomes by a dedicated and experienced teaching staff.
The school has strong links
with parents and the local community. There is an active School Council and
Parents and Citizens group as well as a Student Council and Student Forum.
